‎Obi Cubana reacts to Ndigbo crucification of his APC appointment

Socialite billionaire, Obinna Iyiegbu, alais Obi Cubana has taken swipe on Igbo critics blaming him for accepting the appointment by President Bola Tinubu's son, Seyi, to head President Tinubu's reelection support group known as 'City Boy Movement.'

Cubana was appointment by Seyi to head the support group campaign in the south east.

Subsequently, stakeholders in the south east said that Obi Cubana should not have accepted the appointment given that Mr. Peter would be running against President Tinubu in the 2027 election.

But Cuban said he was surprised that he could not be allowed to decide which political camp he prefers to belong.

In his reaction, Obi Cubana said, "Regarding my recent appointment as South-East coordinator of the City Boy Movement, I'm fully aware of the varied reactions it has sparked. 

"My belief remains firm. Service continues to guide me, and this new role does nothing to alter my commitment to integrity, community growth, and responsible leadership. I am a City Boy through and through, inside and out."
