4th Nnamchi Computer Training Graduation Continues Across Constituency

The graduation ceremony of the 4th Edition of the Annual Free Computer Training Programme sponsored by the Member representing Enugu East/Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency, Hon. Prof. Paul Sunday Nnamchi, has continued across the constituency, with over 1,000 secondary school students participating in the programme.

The graduation exercise began on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Queen of Peace Parish, Ndorommiri, where the brilliance and confidence of a young participant, Miss Ugwu Chinaza, became one of the major highlights of the ceremony.

Chinaza, who delivered a speech on behalf of the graduands, mounted the podium in her school uniform and spoke with remarkable eloquence, confidence and composure, drawing loud applause from the audience.

Moved by her performance, dignitaries, including Prof. Nnamchi and other guests, spontaneously rewarded her with cash gifts while she was still on stage. The gesture generated excitement as more guests joined in appreciating the young girl's intelligence and boldness.

The Ndorommiri ceremony attracted clergy, community leaders, parents, guardians, party stakeholders, beneficiaries and other stakeholders from across the constituency.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Nnamchi reaffirmed his commitment to education and digital empowerment, describing the acquisition of computer skills as an important tool for preparing young people for a competitive future and creating opportunities for them to overcome poverty.

He also expressed appreciation to the resource persons for their commitment to making the training programme more impactful and sustainable, while congratulating the graduands for successfully completing the programme.

Educational materials were distributed to the participants, alongside certificates and prizes for outstanding trainees.

The graduation continued on Friday, September 18, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish, Emene, where the ceremony featured cultural displays, recitations by the trainees, distribution of study materials and presentation of prizes to the best-performing participants.

The exercise moves to Queen of the Rosary Parish, Ogwuagor, today, Saturday, September 19, and will be rounded off on Sunday, September 20, at St. Theresa's Parish, Phase Six, Trans-Ekulu, Enugu.

The programme, organised under the PPNTAYI initiative, is being held across four centres in the Enugu East/Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency and forms part of Prof. Nnamchi's sustained human capital development interventions aimed at equipping young people with relevant digital skills.
