BREAKING: Gov Fintiri of Adamawa state defects to APC with cabinet members
Fintiri used to be Atiku Abubakar's political son in Adamawa state
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa state has defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC, from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Gov Fintiri defected to the national ruling party with his entire cabinet members, on Friday.
In a statewide broadcast, the governor said he switched political party with his entire cabinet and all Peoples Democratic Party officials.
He said his action was for the developmental interest of the people of Adamawa State.
Recall that Adamawa is the home state of the opposition leader and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar
