Encomium As Chidoka Turns 54, Called To Bar

As former Minister for Aviation and Chancellor Athena Center Chief Osita Chidoka clocks fifty four friends associates and well-wishers have described him as a symbol of selfless leadership throughout his life on earth so far .

Chidoka who was recently called to Bar has been on the vanguard of good governance and purposeful leadership insisting that for governance to thrive there most be respect for the rule of law both by the leaders and the led.

He also described the politics and governance of Nigeria since Independence as one that must upgrade it's responsibility to the masses as they appear to be totally disconnected from the grassroot.

According to the statement by the Special Assistant to Chidoka on Media Mr Ikechukwu Okafor ; 

"Former Minister of Aviation and prominent public policy advocate, Chief Osita Chidoka, popularly known as Ike Obosi, is being celebrated across Nigeria today as he marks his birthday – a life journey many describe as a remarkable example of leadership, service, and personal reinvention"

"Chidoka, Chancellor of the Athena Centre, who recently added the title “Esquire” to his name after being called to the Nigerian Bar, has been hailed by associates, Mentees, and admirers for his commitment to public service, cultural leadership, and youth development."

“His life reminds us that leadership is not a destination but a journey of continuous growth and service,” said one of his Mentees"

“Chief Chidoka’s recent call to the Bar only reaffirms his belief that learning and purpose never retire.”

Okafor recalled Chidoka's service to the country as one that has been not only symbolic but most remarkable.

"From his tenure as Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), where he spearheaded sweeping reforms, to his role as Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Chidoka has consistently championed good governance, national unity, and youth mentorship"
