Aggrieved Nsukka Politicians Congratulate Senator Ikeje Asogwa
The group pledged its support as the senator-elect assumes office, urging him to advance national unity, economic growth, security, and the welfare of all Nigerians
The Enugu North Aggrieved Political Veterans have congratulated Senator Ikeje Asogwa on his “resounding victory” in the election to the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Asogwa of the All Progressives Congress was declared winner of the election conducted last Saturday and was sworn-into the red chamber today, Wednesday.
In a statement by the Aggrieved politicians of Nsukka extraction, the group's Chairman Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuja and Secretary Chief (Barr.) L. U. Eze, the group described Asogwa’s victory as a clear mandate from the people and a vote of confidence in his vision, integrity, and capacity to deliver.
“At a time when Nigeria needs bold legislative leadership, your election represents hope for strong representation, people-centered laws, and accountable governance,” the statement read.
The group pledged its support as the senator-elect assumes office, urging him to advance national unity, economic growth, security, and the welfare of all Nigerians.
“The Senate chamber awaits your voice, and we are confident you will use it to defend democracy and uplift the masses, particularly Enugu North Zone which you represent,” it added.
The message concluded with a prayer for an impactful tenure: “May your tenure be impactful, your wisdom sound, and your legacy enduring.”
