Momentum Builds for ADC as Atiku’s Online Votes Lead Boosts Benjamin Eze’s Campaign in Igboeze North/Udenu
Out of 8,362 counted votes across 7,088 represented polling units, Atiku secured 5,484 votes—a massive 65.6 per cent of the total responses
A powerful wave of public alignment is sweeping through the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of Nigeria’s January 2027 general elections. Fresh online polling figures released by the Nigeria Elections Intelligence System (NEIS) highlight a dramatic surge in national support for the party, positioning ADC candidates—from the presidency down to grassroots constituencies—as the formidable choice for reform-minded Nigerians.
According to the latest snapshot from NEIS, an independent and non-partisan election intelligence platform, ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has established a commanding nationwide lead. Out of 8,362 counted votes across 7,088 represented polling units, Atiku secured 5,484 votes—a massive 65.6 per cent of the total responses. This leaves major rivals far behind, with Peter Obi of the NDC trailing at 25.4 per cent (2,124 votes) and incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC recording just 6.0 per cent (498 votes).
This decisive surge in national preference provides strong momentum for the party’s candidates at the grassroots level, particularly in Enugu State’s Igboeze North/Udenu Federal Constituency, where High Chief Chimaobi Benjamin Sunday Eze is spearheading the ADC’s campaign for the House of Representatives.
As the national survey reflects growing public enthusiasm for the ADC’s reformist agenda, High Chief Eze’s campaign continues to gain vital ground. Built on the core ADC tenets of transparency, accountability, inclusive governance, and comprehensive institutional reform, Eze’s candidacy addresses a long-standing desire among constituents for effective and principled legislative representation.
Community leaders and voters across Igboeze North and Udenu are increasingly tuning into Eze's vision, noting that his commitment to public service accountability directly mirrors the national enthusiasm driving the ADC to the top of independent civic opinion polls. Eze has consistently emphasized that his decision to enter the National Assembly race stems from a dedicated objective: to bring tangible development, elevated governance standards, and genuine advocacy to the people of Igboeze North/Udenu.
With the ADC solidifying its party structures and capturing public trust both nationally and locally, the synergy between the party’s presidential momentum and High Chief Benjamin Eze’s grounded, voter-focused legislative strategy positions Igboeze North/Udenu as a critical stronghold for the party ahead of the January 2027 polls.
