Palestine's self-determination right non-negotiable - Bianca Ojukwu

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu has engaged in a diplomatic conversation with the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Nigeria, Muhannad Alhammouri.

The discussion centred on peace and coexistence with the Minister reiterating Nigeria's position of a two-state solution as panacea to the Palestine question.

"Nigeria will continue to support the independence of the State of Palestine," she said, noting that the Palestine people's right to self-determination is non-negotiable.

Nigeria like most other countries was concerned about finding solution to the Palestine question. Our concern was the humanitarian issue, the impact or toll on vulnerable children and women. 

The fact remains that dialogue is the anwer, so, dialogue would have to continue. All that is needed is constructive and honest discussions; diplomatic evaluation. 

The Ambassador who said that over 2million people were displaced in Gaza said that Palestine will want to live peacefully with Israel.
