The Member Representing Enugu East/Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency, Prof Paul Nnamchi has continued to mourn the late Senator who represented Enugu North Senatorial district, Senator Okechukwu Ezea a.k.a Ideke.
Ezea and Nnamchi were members of the Labour Party, a platform both of them used to contest and win their various positions in the national assembly.
In a condolence message issued on behalf of his constituents, Nnamchi described the late senator as a courageous leader, a strategic thinker, and a steadfast believer in the transformative power of public service.
Senator Ezea, who represented Enugu North Senatorial District, was praised for his calm but influential role in shaping political discourse within Enugu State.
Nnamchi stated that the late lawmaker played a stabilizing and critical role before and after the 2023 general elections, offering guidance during major political strategy sessions.
According to him, Senator Ezea’s contributions were consistently thoughtful and impactful. His clarity of mind, conviction, and integrity earned him wide respect across political lines. His counsel helped navigate difficult political moments, and his disciplined approach strengthened the collective resolve of colleagues.
