By Okey Maduforo

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) House of Representatives aspirant for Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia federal constituency of Anambra State in 2027, Chief Chukwudi Oli has pledged to set a standard for youth entrepreneurship

He said this would be possible through building of Entrepreneurs and institutions that would outlive generations and to initiate positive legal frameworks as well as programmes that guarantee realistic empowerment of youths, elderly and all other segments of the society.

Chief Oli made the declaration during an interview with media executives at his Uruorji village Nri country home in Anaocha local government area of the state.

He challenged people of the federal constituency to hold him accountable and by his words not to betray them but to take charge, manage and be prudent with whatever resources meant for them from the center if elected into office.

He said, "My constituency is dear to me. I want to serve them with the resources meant for the people.

My coming out to contest is about capacity; I have the capacity. My representation is not about Keke NAPEP (distribution of tricycles), solar light, grinding machines or motorcycles; it's about building Entrepreneur among youths as future leaders."

According to Oli (a k a Ozo Nwatabuluaku) and legal practitioner, I am the only aspirant that will tell my people how much that comes to them.

He also promised to work collaboratively with the state Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo in what he is doing across the length and breath of the state towards, "building infrastructure that will outlive generations".

"I want to build things that will be in perpetuity and not things that fizzle out in short time. I want to take charge, manage and be prudent with your resources," he assures.

"I want to set standard; Ezeafia is original, he is sent by God. I want to carry my people along. My representation will not be limited to sharing rice, Keke (tricycles) or grinding machines as empowerment but building institutions," he declared.

"Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia is the largest constituency we have in Nigeria, made up of 51 wards. Anaocha is made up of about 320 polling units; Njikoka is made up of about 231 polling units while Dunukofia has 165 polling units. This constituency is very dear to me. As a child and as a student of history I have watched different Representatives; they have done well but you cannot perform beyond your capacity."

"But I feel that I am here for a reason; for all those who care to know I have always presented myself as a servant leader. I am not that leader that want to pop his shoulders or who shows that everybody is beneath him which prevalent or notice in today's politics," the APGA stalwart said.

"I believe I have the capacity, I don't to dwell in sentiment. I want to touch lives; my representation is not in sharing Keke NAPEP, not in putting solar lights; my representation is rooted in building entrepreneurs.

"We want our youths to grow up in having something substantial they do for a living. We what our youths to be the future leaders," Oli stated".

He maintained that, "I am that leader who wants to serve with the resources mean for his people. And at a time when I want to serve it comes with a whole lot of challenges.

"You people must have heard about the agitation for zoning; Dunukofia people will say it's their turn and others but for me it's about capacity. I am also taking my time to reflect on the zoning agitation and from 2003 Dunukofia has always contested for this election."

"For those who do not know me, I am the son of a poor man Christian Chigozie Oli."
