APC to register 1.2M members as Party's E-registration kicks off in Enugu

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has disclosed its target to register no less than 1.2 million party members in Enugu state.

The APC Caretaker chairman in the state, Dr. Ben Nwoye made the disclosure during the flag-off for the training of the supervision in local governments, wards and polling unit registrants in Enugu state, on Wednesday, 

Nwoye said that the commencement of the online membership registration in the state is indicative of the state's poise to lead in the party's organization and structure.

"The training is the first mark of how the party is henceforth organized. It's no longer a time when people run away with party registers and refuse to issue you membership cards. Gone are the days when one's membership of the party is in doubt. Enugu state is taking the lead as a smart state with smart political party," Nwoye said.

He noted that the trainers were supervisors for the wards, who are stakeholders of the party and who are expected to register no less than 1.2 million members in Enugu state, to consolidate Governor Peter Mbah's 'tomorrow is here' mantra.

"We want to make Enugu the best state in Nigeria and the governor is working towards that. We want to be number one in the renewed hope agenda," Nwoye said.
