Ekwunife's Refusal for Paternity Test vindicates Nonye Soludo - APGA

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra state has said that Senator Uche Ekwunife has refused to conduct a paternity test challenge that Dr Nonye Soludo threw to her.

Both women and Governor Chukwuma Soludo have been locked in infidelity allegations in the run up of the November 8 governorship election in Anambra state.

While Ekwunife is the deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the election, Governor Soludo is running for a second term mandate.

Soludo started the tantrum when he first questioned the eligibility of Ekwunife's certificates. Ekwunife fired back by accusing the governor's wife, Nonye, of infidelity with former Chinwoke Mbadinuju of the state.

Nonye Soludo in a statement refuted the allegation and challenged that both her children and those of Ekwunife should undergo paternity test to confirm their chastities.

In the turn of events, APGA is now celebrating the decision of Ekwunife not to accept the challenge by Mrs. Soludo for a paternity test to be carried out on their respective children.

The party said that it was not surprised that Ekwunife would chicken out following what they described as the fear if being entertained by the likely outcome of the test.

Ekwunife had turned down the challenge insisting that Dr Nonye only owes her husband Governor Charles Soludo the explanation as according to her, only a woman knows the paternity of her children.

According to the Coordinator APGA Media Warriors Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe, the refusal of Ekwunife is an indication that Soludo's wife is innocent of the allegations leveled against her by the former Senator adding that it would have opened a can of worms on the side of Ekwunife.

"I expected the Senator Uche Ekwunife to chicken out of the paternity test challenge given to her by our own living Saint in the person of Her Excellency Nonye Soludo because of her despicable antecedents" 

"Senator Uche Ekwunife could not take the challenge because of its grave implications at the end of the day"

He however described Dr Nonye Soludo as a lamb without blemish, adding that her personality cannot reduce to the level of being unfaithful to her marriage.

"On the contrary, Her Excellency Nonye Soludo that is an undisputed living Saint cannot be associated with Ekwunife and that is why she boldly challenged Ekwunife to a paternity test of their respective children" 

"My position is that when the name of a living Saint like Her Excellency Nonye Soludo is mentioned the likes of Ekwunife should not be mentioned anywhere around her. It is now on record that Senator Uche Ekwunife ran away from the paternity test challenge given to her by Her Excellency Nonye Soludo."

"The reason why Senator Uche Ekwunife chickened out of the paternity test challenge is because she has skeleton in her cupboard and cannot withstand the revelation of the paternity test results will bring to her" he concluded. In all honesty, Her Excellency Nonye Soludo is a role model to women that value their dignity more than gold and for me, she is a living Saint on earth."
