Gov Mbah, reason for progress in Nsukka zone - Support group

Members of the Enugu State Unity Forum (EUF) in Enugu North Senatorial district, have noted that Governor Peter Mbah is the reason there is accelerated developmental progress in Nsukka zone.

Chairmen of the six local government areas of the zone in a uniformity of opinion made the assertion while inaugurating the Enugu North zonal structure of EUF, at Nsukka on Monday.

EUF is a support group canvassing for the reelection of Governor Peter Mbh for a second term in 2027 elections.

The leadership of the group in the zone together with the local government structures were inaugurated at the function.

Coordinator of the group in the zone, Prof Ikpe Ibenekwu said that the forum members were bound by agreement for upright, Justice and fairness, which he said are at the bedrock of the Mbah's administration. 

Speaking one after the other, the council chairmen acknowledged that the zone has received the highest number dividends of the Mbah administration with 102 smart schools and health centers, respectively, out the 260 units, each, for the entire state.

"Earlier than now, there were schools for the rich and the other for the poor but now Mbah has bridged that gap with the introduction of the smart school that has no division between the rich and the poor," they noted.

Chairman of Igboeze North local government, Mike Ogalla, stated that Governor Peter Mbah is the essence of unity and progress in Enugu North and in the entire state. 

"We have never had it this good. Therefore, go out and spread the good news. We are proud that what is obtained in the international arena are what the governor give us here in the state," said Ogalla.

Chairman of Udenu LGA, Aka Eze Aka said that "Peter Mbah must go back," with his numerous achievements; and urged everyone of voting age to go now and ensure regularization of their voters cards.

For the Chairman of Uzo-uwani LGA, Chijioke Ezeugwu, "it's a great development in Enugu North zone that the whole chairmen came together for the unity forum," adding that to whom much is given, much is expected.

"Governor Mbah is now finalizing construction of Enugu -Nsukka road to reduce insecurity and improve safely of our people. The voice of people is the voice of God and we have come today to preach the good news."

Dr. Eric Odo, the Chairman of Igboetiti LGA likened the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Victor Udeh, as a striker who passes the ball to Governor Mbah. He disclosed that the forum is recruiting 50 canvassers in every polling unit.

The host chairman of Nsukka. LGA, Engr Jude Asogwa said that the Governor has set high standards in Enugu state with several kilometers road, oxygen center, 102 smart schools and hospitals and many more in Enugu North zone and deserves commendation.

Fiery Catholic priest, Rev Fr Dr. Paul Obayi, promised to broadcast the need for voters' car in his adoration ground in Nsukka, stating that he is for anything that calls for unity.

The Inauguration witnessed a supporters' rally of women, youth and traditional rulers.
