Nyesom Wike, Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory Minister, his wife, Justice Eberechi, and three children have been linked to a $2 million mansion in Florida, USA.

According to public records obtained by West Africa Weekly, the property is located at 113 Spring Creek Lane, Winter Springs, Florida 32708.

The mansion is a two-storey residence built in 1997, sitting on a 4,076-square-foot lot with a garage and two parking spaces. The property is registered under the names of Wike's wife, Justice Eberechi Wike, and their children, Joaquin, Jazmyne, and Jordan.

Wike's name is notably absent from the transaction documents, sparking concerns about asset disclosure and potential money laundering.

The acquisition has raised questions about Wike's financial dealings, given his official annual salary and allowances of approximately ₦7.8 million (about $5,000). Analysts warn that the deal may contravene Nigeria's Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022.

Justice Eberechi Wike's involvement in the purchase has also sparked controversy due to her being a registered member of the US Democratic Party, potentially violating Nigeria's Code of Conduct for Judicial Officers.

It's worth noting that Wike and his family have not issued an official response to these allegations. The revelation has added to the controversy surrounding Wike's financial dealings and potential impropriety.
