Buhari's burial
Arrangements are top gear to bury the late former President Mohammadu Buhari tomorrow, Monday July 14 2025 in his hometown, Daura, Katsina state.
He died in a London clinic today Sunday July 13 at about 4:30pm.
The Former President will be buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
President Bola Tinubu had since sent Vice President Kashim Shettima and Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila to proceed to the United Kingdom to accompany Buhari’s body back to Nigeria.
Buhari was Nigeria’s President between May 29, 2015 to May 29, 2023.
