Gov Mba’s Man of the Year Award Deserving—Prof Nnamchi
Professor Nnamchi noted that Governor Mba has made significant strides in repositioning Enugu State as one of the economic powerhouse states in the country
Hon. Professor Paul Sunday Nnamchi, member representing Enugu East/Isi Uzo Federal Constituency, has described the award of Sun Newspaper's Man of the Year to Enugu State Governor, Barrister Peter Ndubisi Mba, as "well-deserving".
Professor Nnamchi noted that Governor Mba has made significant strides in repositioning Enugu State as one of the economic powerhouse states in the country.
He highlighted the Governor's substantial investments in education, infrastructure, security, and agriculture, stating that these efforts have begun to yield results.
The lawmaker also commended Governor Mba's interest in revitalizing state-owned corporations, describing it as "commendable".
He acknowledged that the decision to vote for Governor Mba was "faultless", citing the state's improved economy and enhanced security, which has made Enugu State the safest in the Southeast region.
Professor Nnamchi described Governor Mba's emergence as a "new dawn" for Enugu State, noting that his promise to boost the state's economy is already showing signs of success, with internally generated revenue (IGR) phenomenally high.
Governor Mba was crowned Sun Newspapers' Man of the Year in Lagos on January 1, 2026, in recognition of his outstanding governance performance.
