DEMOCRACY DAY: Rep Nnamchi Pledges More Investment, Jobs for Enugu East/Isi Uzo Constituency
Nnamchi described democracy as the most reliable path to sustainable development, unity, and inclusive governance. He urged citizens to guard it jealously
Hon. Prof. Paul Sunday Nnamchi, member representing Enugu East/Isi Uzo Federal Constituency, has assured constituents that his drive to attract investment, infrastructure, jobs, and scholarships will continue unabated, as Nigerians mark 2026 Democracy Day celebration.
In a message to the people, Nnamchi described democracy as the most reliable path to sustainable development, unity, and inclusive governance. He urged citizens to guard it jealously and to remain engaged in shaping its dividends.
“June 12 reminds us that power truly belongs to the people. I want to reassure Ndi Enugu East/Isi Uzo federal constituency that your mandate is safe with me, and I do not take the trust you bestowed on me for granted,” Nnamchi reassured.
Nnamchi said his work at the National Assembly is deliberately geared toward converting democratic representation into tangible benefits. He cited his ongoing engagements with foreign partners, including recent meetings with Singaporean, Taiwanese, and Irish officials, as part of efforts to open doors for technology-driven enterprises, infrastructure projects, and scholarship opportunities for constituents.
He added that every bill, motion, and project he sponsors is designed with the constituency’s needs in mind, particularly at a time when the nation faces economic and security challenges.
“I urge you, my dear constituents, to remain hopeful, united, and patient. More dividends of democracy will definitely be delivered to Enugu East/Isi Uzo as long as I remain your representative in the National Assembly.
