If she was like my wife... Umahi makes caricature of Tracy Ohiri

Minister for Works, Engr. Dave Umahi has made a jest of business woman, Tracyniter Nicholas Ohiri, who alleged that the Minister demanded sex from her for payment of a purported debt.

Umahi said that if the woman was to be as beautiful as his wife, he would have been consoled but not the type of a woman who so accused her.

The Minister attributed the allegation to the political season which he said is around the corners of Nigeria and could be the reason for the Ohiri's allegation.

Umahi spoke in Enugu shortly after he inspected federal government works projects in Enugu and Anambra States, on Saturday.

Among the projects the Minister inspected included the ongoing construction of Enugu-Ontisha expressway, the flyovers in Abakpa junction in Enugu and the Eke-Obinagu flyover along Enugu-Abakaliki-Ogoja Trans Africa highway.

Umahi said, "Don't insult your leaders because what a man soweth is what he reaps. People know me very well, I was a party chairman and I presided over men and women and nobody said I harassed her. I was Deputy Governor and Governor for eight years and I did fantastic in infrastructure.

"So nobody can said I harassed him or her. What you read on the social media, I'm no worried about it. It makes me stronger. I've fought many battles. There is nothing wrong with to say that a Man is chasing a woman, but if she is as beautiful as my wife that is accusing me I would say oh and my face will be bold (laughs).

"But not anyhow person that will accuse a handsome man of chasing her for 12 years, you know, that person must be the queen of England because even one man cannot chase Senator Natasha for 12 years.

"So, it's just to make the social media to be alive and I think that we can turn our attention to the war in Iran and allow Dave Umahi to rest. I know that it's all about politics and politics has started, but when the right time comes and the whistle is blown by INEC, then we will know the stuff we are made of."
